Back Cover Suspension Automation
It is an operation to be performed in the section where the work pieces to be painted on the paintwork conveyor of the powder coating facility where the washing machine body is painted. First, the body of the washing machine is hung on the paint house conveyor. While the conveyor continues to move after the body is suspended, a worker is placed on the hanger to which the washing machine is hung, the back cover of the washing machine by the worker in the area where there are 2 reference and 1 stop pins remaining in the cavity of the washing machine body. This human-made process will be made by the robotic arm at the workstation to be designed within the scope of the project. For this purpose, in order for the robotic arm to do its job, the paint shop body hanger in motion will be fixed and stopped with a magnetic and pneumatic moving holder after being positioned with the sensors after it has been enabled to move without an swing with an anti-shake device. Following the arrival of the stop signal, the camera will be photographed with a camera in order to provide the position information of the reference pins of the robot arm. The captured photo will be converted to digital data with image processing software and position information will be transferred to the robot. Meanwhile, the robot arm will take the back cover of the washing machine with a holder to be designed on a carrier cart. Due to the probability that the parts received after the robot arm has taken the part, it will be determined whether the workpiece is odd or even with the signal formed after passing it between the ultrasonic sensors placed on a certain position while in motion. The robot arm will operate at high speeds, as all these operations will be done in a total cycle time of 6 seconds. Therefore, the part that the robot arm carries is dropped, thrown, etc. Security system will be designed in order to prevent adverse conditions.
